“We believe that every child wants to succeed, meet expectations, and make the people they care about proud.”
Every child wants to succeed and meet expectations. They want to make the people they care about proud. Unfortunately, some children don't have the skills they need to meet those expectations, whether at home, at school, or on the playground. As a result, those children feel that they’re disappointing family members, friends, and teachers.
We work with children and their families to uncover and address each child’s underlying issues. Together, we’ll work to equip each child with the tools to overcome challenges, build self-esteem, and tackle activities with confidence.
OT to You takes a holistic approach, incorporating many intervention models in our practice. With an eye on the family’s goals and the child’s best interest at the forefront, we use models like DIR Floortime, Sensory Integration, and Collaborative Problem Solving to develop skills so they can fulfill their daily routines.
I founded OT to You to reach beyond the clinic and support families and children in their day-to-day environments — at home, at school, and in the community. We’re a growing practice, serving children and families across Chicago’s northern suburbs.
